DIY-Fancy Boots

I love me a good DIY project.  If you picked up the newest issue of NYLON magazine, then you would be very excited about their little DIY article, it's pretty bad ass.

The only thing I skipped on with the materials list is the brilo pad & leather cleaner.  Here's what I did in picture form!

(I went to my local thrift store & grabbed a bunch of chain belts)

This was a pretty easy project, the only trouble was trying to figure out when enough was enough.  Got to work on self control!  Pick up your newest NYLON magazine & try it out!  What DIY projects have you been working on?

    Ugh. So jealous. I'm gonna have to do this! A friend of mine tied her belt to her boots the other day as a joke, and wow it's sucha neat little trend actually. My most recent DIYs have mainly been cropped, shredded and bleached things. I'm gonna branch out and do something like this!

      Definitely do it! I just got a pair of cowboy boots from the thrift store that I'm about to jazz up! So come back to see the end result! :)
